A time for staff to get together to have some fun. This year, we get together with SingTel colleagues for Team Building, running around Garden By the Bay, looking for specific plants/trees.

Out-station in Brunei April 2013
Had to be out-station for a week, to one of the most isolated area - Brunei. Well, did try to get some entertainment, but due to a lack of transport, to no avail.
My work-place is just across the hotel. So, its a triangle every day, from hotel to work, work to lunch, lunch to work, work to dinner, dinner to hotel. So happen there is a supermarket and a couple of eateries in that small cluster of buildings.

Just in front of the Office, is the supermarket. At least supermarket is like cold storage, not shop&save.
Breakfast was standard everyday:
Luckily, our SCS colleague in Brunei bought us out for dinner whenever possible. A Bakuta dinner
What's everyone looking at?

No, we did not try it.
My hotel room is just above a cafe. Had coffee every night. Should try their tiramisu, without alcohol.
On the last day, we had a fulfilling lunch, authentic Thai food. It is a home restaurant, right in a kampong.
Hope for a better time next time, if any.

Good Friday in Manila
Was over in Manila over Good Friday. Arrived on Monday and stayed till Friday. Phillippino had it good; their holiday start on Wednesday thru Sunday. Thursday is known as Maundy Thursday, then we have Good Friday, before Holy Saturday and Easter Day on Sunday.
A good chance for me to observe their faith, and thus extend my stay until Good Friday.
The first 2 nites was the usual shopping. Visited Mall of Asia.

One church on Wednesday afternoon.
Main activities started on Wednesday Night. I visited a church nearby.
They had an activities called "church hopping". Basically, it like bar-hopping. Followed a group and we walk from one church to another. Seem that there are many groups doing the same. I stopped at the second church.
